In light of current events worldwide, parents are having to look at homeschooling as an option. It is very daunting, particularly if you did not plan to do this in the first place.
The best advice for me personally is to try and relax, take things slowly and don't flood your child with too much work and rigged studies. Everyone retains information best when not in a stressed environment. Try your best to not let things upset you or them and to make it as fun and enjoyable as possible.
The positive news is that new, amazing and free resources are becoming available daily in light of everyone being in isolation so there has never been a better or easier time to get started. Even if it is a temporary measure, lets make the most of all the amazing offerings and hope that, at least for some, they will look at homeschooling in a new and more positive way.
